ACCOOE, WILLIS. Composer (Fl. late nineteenth century; April 1904 in New York). Little is known of his career except that he was regarded by his contemporaries as a person of much talent. It may be that the tenor soloist William Accooe who appeared on a Grand Concert in Philadelphia in 1873 should be identified as this biographee.
