CATO, MINTO. Opera singer (4 September 1900 in Little Rock, Arkansas; 26 October 1979 in New York, New York). She obtained her musical education at the Washington Conservatory of Music in Washington, D.C., then under the direction of Harriet Gibbs Marshall.
