MOORE, KERMIT. Concert cellist (11 March 1929 in Akron, Ohio). He obtained his musical education at the Cleveland Institute of Music in Ohio (1951), New York University (M.A.), the Paris Conservatory in France (artist diploma, 1956), and the Juilliard School of Music in New York. His teachers included Felix Salmond, Paul Bazelaire, George Enesco, Nadia Boulanger, and Pierre Pasquier, among others.
