PEYTON, DAVE. Bandleader (c1885; May 1955 in Chicago, Illinois). He received his musical training in the public schools of Chicago, Illinois, and through private study. Later he studied at the American College of Music in Chicago. His first professional experience was with Poney Moore's Burlesque Show in 1908.
