SHIRLEY, (née WALBRIDGE) DONALD (DON). Jazz/concert pianist (29 January 1927 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies). He began piano study at the age of three with his mother. He obtained his musical education at the Leningrad Conservatory in the Soviet Union, where he studied with Mittolovski.
