VAUGHN, JAMES. Songwriter (1870s [?] in Boston, Massachusetts; after 1935 in Boston). He attended the Rindge Technical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His first professional experience was with Goodman's Alabama Troubadours. Later he became musical director for the George Walker/Bert Williams shows (1902-09) and also wrote songs for the musicals.
