SARDI’S RESTAURANT. 234 W. 44th Street. Sardi’s is the preeminent theater restaurant. It hosts most Broadway opening-night parties, a tradition that began with the opening of Come Back Little Sheba on February 15, 1950.
The restaurant was opened in May 1921 down the block from its present location. It moved to the new building in 1927.
