ARCHILACHUA
> MUSICIAN
ARCHILACHUA. Greek musician, who flourished 700 b.c. He is accredited with the invention of dramatic music and the epode. This dramatic music probably belonged to that class of composition described in such flattering language by historians, although its actual existence is only a matter of conjecture.
