BLANGINI, Giuseppe Marco Marie Felice

The great popularity of Blangini’s Italian and French songs, or romances, was chiefly due to their agreeable character. Their reputation, like that of his operas, is fading. His life was published by Villemarest in 1834, under title of Souvenirs de F. Blangini maitre de chapelle du roi de Bavière, membre de la Légion d’honneur et de l’Institut historique de France, 1797–1834.
