English comp. of 16th century, harmonized Este’s Psalms, and composed First Set of English Madrigals to foure Voyces, 1599; Fair Nymphs, six-part Madrigal in Triumphs of Oriana; Divers and Saundrie waies of two parts in one, to the number of fortie upon one playn-song, etc., Lond., 1591. His biography is unknown.
