Aksyonov [Aksyónuhff], Semyon Nikolayevich (1784 [1790]; 5–30/6–11–1853, Loshaki, Lipetsk distr.). Guitarist, comp., and pedagogue. Studied with Sikhra, who considered Aksyonov to be his finest pupil. Added to I. Geld's School for the Seven-String Guitar (1819) a chapter on the perf. of harmonics on this instrument; also taught M. Vysotsky , among others.
