Čiurlionyte (Chyurlyonite), Jadvyga (12–5/17–1899, Druskininkai). Lithuanian ethnomusicologist and comp. Sister of Čiurlionis. Studied at the Leipzig Cons. from 1920–23 and grad. in 1925 from the Stern Cons. in Berlin. Taught pf and publ. editions of her brother's music. Joined the faculty of the Lithuanian Cons. 1946.
