Dan'kevich [Dankyéveech], Konstantin Fyodorovich (12–11/24–1905, Odessa; 2–26–1984, Kiev). Ukrainian pianist, cond., comp., and Party organizer. Grad. 1929 from the Odessa Mus.-Dramatic Institute, where he studied comp. with V. A. Zolotaryov and also pf. Has held several teaching positions, incl. at the Odessa Mus.-Dramatic Institute (from 1929), the Odessa Cons. (1944–53), and Kiev Cons. (from 1953). His students incl.
