Dütsch (Dyutsh), Georgy Ottonovich (1–8/20–1857, P.; 9–16/28–1891, same). Cond., pedagogue, collector of folk songs, and comp. Son of O. Dütsch . Studied vn, bn, and pf at the P. Cons. (1866–75). Also worked with N. Rimsky-Korsakov and Iogansen in comp. Held cond. positions, then joined the faculty of the P. Cons. (1889). His students incl. I. Rachinsky .
