Gadzhiyev, Akhmed Dzhevdet Ismail ogly

Gadzhiyev [Gadzhéeyiff] (Gajiev, Hajiyev), Akhmed Dzhevdet Ismail ogly (6–5/18–1917, Nukha [now Shcheki]). Studied with Vasilenko and Rudol'f at the Azerbaijan Cons. (1935–38) and with A. N. Aleksandrov at the M. Cons. (1938–41). Grad. from the latter in 1947, after two years of additional work with Shostakovich .
