Garshnek [Gárshnik], Anatoly Ivanovich (11–17–1918, Staryy Izborsk, Pskov distr.). Grad. 1950 from the Tallinn Cons., where he studied with Eller. Completed post-grad. work with S. Bogatyryov at the M. Cons. (1953), then joined the faculty of the Tallinn Cons. His students incl. Kuulberg and Marguste.
