Grāvītis [Gráveeteess], Ol'gerts (8–30–1926, Alūksne). Musicologist and comp. Grad. from the Latvian Cons. as a musicologist (1952) and comp. (1960), studying with J. Ivanov. In 1956 completed post-grad. work at the L. Cons., then joined the faculty of the Latvian Cons. (1961). Is best known for his research on Garuta, Jurjāns, J.
