Gurilyov [Gureelyóff] (Gurylyov), Lev Stepanovich (1770, M.; 1844, same). Pianist, cond., pedagogue, and comp. Father of A. Gurilyov. Lev Gurilyov was born into a peasant family that belonged to Count V. G. Orlov. He studied with Sarti and at one time was conductor of the count's serf orchestra at the family estate “Otrada” near M.
