Izraelyan [Eezruhilyán] (Israelyan), Martunik (1938-). Armenian comp. Grad. from the Yerevan Cons., where he studied comp. with G. Yegiazaryan . Comp. in a variety of styles, incl. neo-classicism and, more recently, serialism. Since the 1960s has displayed an interest in medieval Armenian music and in the spatial aspect of music.
