Kankarovich [Kuhnkaróveech], Anatoly Isaakovich (9–26/10–8–1885, P; 8–17–1956, M.). Cond., mus. critic, and comp. At the P. Cons., studied vn with Auer (grad. 1906), cond. with N. Cherepnin , and comp. with A. K. Lyadov, N. Rimsky-Korsakov , and Vītols (grad. 1910). From 1910–14 received additional training in cond. from A. Nikisch in Leipzig, W.
