Kazachenko [Kuhzachénkuh], Grigory Alekseyevich (4–21/5–3–1858, P.; 5–18–1938, L.). Ukrainian cond., comp., and pedagogue. Studied with Hunke and, at the P. Cons. (1874–83), with Iogansen and N. Rimsky-Korsakov . From 1924–38 was in charge of the choral class at the L. Cons.; also was choirmaster of the P. Imperial Opera.
