Khagagortyan [Huhguhgartyán], Eduard Aramovich (7–15–1930, Tbilisi; 1–3–1983). Grad. 1955 from the Yerevan Cons., where he studied with Yegiazariyan. Also did post-grad. work with A. Khachaturyan at the M. Cons. (1965). Held administrative positions in the Composers' Union and in 1972 became an editor of Sovetskiy Kompozitor.
