Luppov [Lúppuhff], Anatoly Borisovich (6–2–1929, Pachi, Kirov distr.). Grad. as a pianist (1956) and comp. (1959) from the Kazan Cons., studying with Leman. Joined the faculty of this institution in 1956 and, in 1971, comp. the first Mari ballet, A Forest Legend.
