Martynov [Martínuhff] (Martinov), Vladimir Ivanovich (2–20–1946, M.). Son of musicologist rI. Martynov (1908). Grad. 1970 from the M. Cons., where he studied comp. with Sidel'nikov. Has worked at the M. experimental electronic music studio (from 1973), led the rock group Forpost (from 1977), researched relationships between musical form and time and space, and edited music by Dufay, Dunstable, A.
