Naissoo, Uno (3–25–1928, Viljandi, Estonia; 1–5–1980). Comp. and cond. Studied comp. with Eller at the Tallinn Cons. In 1952, grad. and joined the faculty of the Tallinn Mus. Sch. Wrote a textbook on jazz harmony and orchestration. Often comp. in the jazz idiom.
