Rekašius, Antanas (7–4–1928, Pavandenis, Lithuania). Grad. 1959 from the Lithuanian Cons., where he studied with Juzeliūnas. From 1959–69, taught at the Gruodis Mus. Sch. in Kaunas. As a comp., has cultivated an eclectic style, using contemporary techniques such as aleatory and sonorism, jazz, and folk elements.
