Sadovnikov [Sadóvneekuhff], Viktor Ivanovich (3–21/4–2–1886, Shulgino, near Tambov; 3–6–1964, M.). Singer, pedagogue, cond., and comp. Grad. 1911 from the M. Cons., where he was a pupil of Masetti. Also studied comp. with Glier, A. Il'insky , and S. I. Taneyev. Held cond. and administrative positions in M. theaters, worked in research institutes, and taught at the M. People's Cons.
