Simon'yan [Seemanyán], Nadezhda (Shogakat) Simonovna (2–26–1922, Rostov-on-Don). Grad. 1950 from the L. Cons., where she was a pupil of Chishko. Also did post-grad. work with Pushkov (1955). Some of her works use material by American authors, such as John Steinbeck and Mark Twain.
