Tolstoy [Talstóy], Dmitry Alekseyevich (1–20–1923, Berlin). Son of writer A. N. Tolstoy. Following study with Shebalin (comp.) and V. Sofronitsky (pf) at the M. Cons. (1943–44), continued his training with Arapov, Kamensky, L. Nikolayev , Pushkov, Ryazanov, and M. Shteinberg at the L. Cons.; grad. 1947.
