PAIK, Nam June (20 July 1932). Born in Korea, educated in music in Japan and then Germany, where his work earned support from both John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen , Paik came to America in 1964 as a celebrated young international artist. His initial forte was Electronic Music, thanks to three years of work at a Cologne studio. On the side, he did other things that assumed more importance in his career.
