Howson

Frank Howson (* 1817; † Omaha, USA, 16 Sept. 1869), baritone, entrepreneur. He fought in Spain with the British Legion c.1835, and after singing in the Drury Lane Co., with his brother was brought to Hobart in 1842 by singer-entrepreneur Anne Clarke for her concerts in the Argyle Rooms and her opera in Hobart theatres.
