World Of Our Own, A

World Of Our Own, A Song (1965) by Tom Springfield. Recorded by the Seekers (1965, W&G), it was No. 1 in the Australian charts for 27 weeks. No. 1 and then No. 2 for six months in the UK, and No. 4 in the USA. It was one of three songs Springfield wrote for the Seekers (the others were I'll Never Find Another You and The Carnival Is Over) which challenged the Beaties and the Rolling Stones for dominance of the international charts in 1965.
