DELLO JOIO, Norman, New York 24.1.1913, comp. américain. Organiste dès l'âge de douze ans à l'église The Star of the Sea de New York, il a fait ses études à l'Institute of Musical Art (1936) et à la Juilliard School of Music (1939–41) où il travailla la composition avec Bernard Wagenaar.
