Guiniphone
Guiniphone A portable record player produced in 1929 in Britain, said to be the smallest such machine ever made. Dimensions were 10 inches by 10 inches by three inches when closed; it had a folding paper cone for a horn, and could play 10-inch discs. Possibly the manufacturer was Guinea Gramophone Co., an English firm that was established in February 1929. But the name may come from the selling price, one guinea.
