Mars, Johnny 7 December 1942; Laurens, SC Harmonica player living in England since 1972. Early influence was Little Walter Jacobs, but more decisive was Jimi Hendrix, whose guitar style Mars sought to emulate on the harmonica. He performs mostly in Europe, with occasional U.S. appearances such as at the 1992 San Francisco Blues Festival .
