Stepney, Billie

Stepney, Billie 16 January 1930; Grenada, MS Drummer active in Chicago since the mid-1940s; first name sometimes shown as “Billy.” During the 1950s, he performed frequently for Memphis Slim and in Willie Dixon–supervised sessions for Chess and Cobra.
