Barcarolle (FR) Venetian Boat-Song. Fauré's setting (1873, Op. 7 #3) for voice and piano of a poem by Monnier entitled Gondolier du Rialto, from the volume Poésies (1872), where the poet's name is spelled Marc-Monnier. The song is dedicated to Mme. Pauline Viardot.
