Crépuscule

Crépuscule (FR) Twilight. Fauré's setting (1906 / 10, La Chanson d'Eve #9) for voice and piano of the second (untitled) poem from the Crépuscule section of La Chanson d'Eve (1904) by van Lerberghe. Fauré cuts the fifth line of the poem: »Est-ce une plainte de la terre?« (Is it a lament emanating from the earth?).
