Fagnes de Wallonie (FR) Walloon Uplands. Poulenc's setting (1940, Banalités #3) for voice and piano of a poem by Apollinaire first published in Lacerba on 28 February 1915, titled »Fagues« [sic], then in Nord-Sud in August 1917, then in the collection Il y a (1925, posth.). Poulenc repeats the next-to-last line of the poem once: »A belles dents« (With beautiful teeth).
