La Grace exilée (FR) Exiled Grace. Poulenc's setting (1948, Calligrammes #5) for voice and piano of a poem by Apollinaire. The poem is the first of seven from the Lueuers de tirs (Flashes of Shooting) section of Calligrammes (Calligrams: Poems of Peace and War, 1913–1916), the first poem of three subtitled »Le Médaillon toujours fermé« (The Eternally Closed Medallion), a sequence intended to illustrate, in verse, drawings by Marie Laurencin.
