Il pleut (FR) It Is Raining. Poulenc's setting (1948, Calligrammes #4) for voice and piano of the 16th poem in the Ondes ([Radio] Waves) section of Calligrammes (1913–1916) by Apollinaire. The original poem was printed in lines running down the page, suggesting streaks of rain.
