Inscription sur le sable (FR) Inscription in the Sand. Fauré's setting (1914, Le Jardin clos #8) for voice and piano of the tenth poem by van Lerberghe from the Jeux et songes (Games and Dreams) section of the volume Entrevisions (Indistinct Sightings, 1898). Fauré cuts the fourth and fifth stanzas of the five-stanza poem.
