Je nommerai ton front (FR) I Will Name Your Brow. Poulenc's setting (1939, Miroirs brûlants #2) for voice and piano of a poem by Eluard. The original title of the poem is »Vertueux solitaire« (Righteous Recluse). The poem first appeared in Mesures on 15 July 1938, then as the seventh poem in Chanson complète (Complete Song, 1939). In Poulenc's opinion, this is a »failed song.« The song is dedicated to Marie-Laure (de Noailles).
