Mutation (FR) Mutation. Poulenc's setting (1948, Calligrammes #2) for voice and piano of the ninth poem from the Case d'armons (Munitions Hut) section of Calligrammes (1913–1916) by Apollinaire. The poem was printed at the World War I battlefront on 17 June 1915. Mutation is a military term for troop movements.
