Narbonne
Narbonne Southern French city near the Mediterranean, once an ancient Roman port (Narboniensis). In the 14th century, the port silted up and Narbonne's fortunes declined somewhat, but its proximity to fields of wildflowers, the nectar of which produces honey admired by connoisseurs, and the nearby vineyards have kept its economy and reputation strong.
