Narcisse
Narcisse (FR) spelling of Narcissus. In Greek mythology, the son of a river and a nymph, Clymene. He was such an incredibly beautiful boy that everyone fell in love with him, but he haughtily scorned all who would love him, including Echo. Nemesis condemned Narcissus to look at himself forever in a pool of water. As he did, he fell deeply in love with himself, and he wasted away and died. The gods turned him into a flower.
