Nuit d'étoiles (FR) Starry Night. Debussy's setting (1880) for voice and piano of the 32nd poem by Banville from the »Stalactites« (1843 / 46) section of Les Cariatides. The poem's title is »La Dernière pensée de Weber« (The Last Thought of Weber). It was said to be inspired by the last complete piece (a waltz) by German composer Carl Maria von Weber (1786–1826).
