Les Présents (FR) The Gifts. Fauré's setting (1887, Op. 46, #1) for voice and piano of a poem by Villiers de l'Isle -Adam from the Contes cruels (Cruel Tales, 1883), the group of poems, in the middle of all the short stories, is called »Conte d'amour« (Love Story).
