Le Tombeau (FR) The Tomb. Poulenc's setting (1924 / 25, Poèmes de Ronsard #2) for voice and piano of part of Ode IV »De l'élection de son sépulchre« (stanzas 3 – 7) from the Quatrième Livre des odes (1550) by Ronsard. The ode is influenced by Horace (65 – 8 BC), Propertius (c. 50 – 15 BC), and Virgil (70 – 19 BC).
