Music and Theater

A further expression and extension of theater is the development of national companies. Two productive national troupes are the New Guinea National Theatre Company (formerly the National Dance and Drama Company) and the Cook Islands National Arts Theatre , both of which have performed on stages of the world for non-Pacific audiences.
